Bottega Louie was opened in 2009. It is a 255 seat restaurant, café, and gourmet market rolled into one. It is located right in the heart of Los Angeles. Its gourmet market offers an extensive collection of savory products, while its restaurant slash café has become a favorite of many LA residents.
The restaurant’s interiors have always been impressive, right from Bottega Louie’s opening up to now. Its white walled dining rooms are elegant and picturesque. Service remains very solid, with the staff eager to attend to every customer request. The place can be quite noisy but it only goes to show how the place remains popular despite the emergence of newer restaurants.
But its mouthwatering food will always be Bottega Louie’s strength. For starters, you will be given a sampling of fruit tart, tiramisu, beignets, and crème brulee.
Try the Portobello fries and Artichoke pizza. The scallops will impress even the most meticulous diner. And the cioppino, or Italian seafood stew, is very flavorful. Other best sellers include smoked salmon eggs Benedict, salmon millefuille, and good ole Mac and Cheese.
Just be sure to come here early as the place can get packed quickly especially on weekends.
